His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, will patronize the ceremony of the people of the Eastern Region on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 2019, which is organized by Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Fund Events.
The ceremony and the accompanying events will be held in the hall of the General Authority for Sport in Dammam (Green Arena) in the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, which extends for a week.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi sends his thanks to His Highness the Emir of the region for patronizing and honoring the region's people.
He stressed that the patronage of His Highness represents a great support for what the Chamber, represented by the Fund of Events, seeks to meet the aspirations of the people of the region and the wishes of the large segment of its visitors during the holiday period and also in line with their expectations.
Al-Khaldi explained that the Eastern Region was known for its professionalism in organizing public events. The region also had a great success in the implementation and management of the Eastern Season and the shopping festival, which was co-operated by many departments with the participation of the private sector.
He stressed the continuation of the journey through high performance and professionalism in providing excellence.
Al-Khaldi pointed out that the program of the ceremony and the accompanying events will be interspersed with many surprises that will be at the level of professionalism in the presentation of events, and the overall renewal of the program of work during the Eid.
He pointed out that the events and as the return of the people and visitors of the region will take into account the community groups and will provide gifts and prizes to the participants.
Al-Khaldi pointed out that the Fund of Events and through its sponsors seeks to achieve the goal of cooperation and solidarity by unifying the efforts of businessmen to provide support for the implementation of recreational and social programs to receive the people of the Eastern Region and visitors during Eid and preserve the distinctive image that was known about it and make the Eastern Region as an Incubator of activities and events.
Al-Khaldi said the Chamber started its preparations since early this year to organize the concert and entertainment program accompanying it.
He stressed that the course of work is proceeding according to a long work plan interspersed with many procedures and coordination with the relevant government agencies in addition to the supporting bodies.
He praised the large roles that are being played every year by all the participants in the work teams in order to make the event a success, which is carried out by all stakeholders from governmental, private, business, and members of the working committees.
Al-Khaldi said that the program of the ceremony last year witnessed a lot of innovative ideas, which recorded the participation of large attendance and the interest of the community groups of families and young people to participate and attend the events.
This was a largest evidence of the Fund's success in capturing and insisting on events that the public desires.
Al-Khaldi said that the Fund will present this year a variety of entertainment programs that will be attractive to all and target their ambitions, where adults and young people will participate and will be introduced by professionals in the entertainment world.
